When using Xp_logininfo to find memebers of an AD group we might recive a cryptic error message
EXEC xp_logininfo [testlogin],‘members’
Msg 15404, Level 16, State 3, Procedure xp_logininfo, Line 42
Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user , error code 0x534.
Its mostly AD group no longer exists
